Dow Chemical Regional Channel Manager in Houston, Texas
Dow Chemical (Performance Silicones) is seeking for a results driven Region Channel Manager to work in the Southern region US.
The primary purpose of this position is to maintain and grow our regional Advanced Assembly Solutions business through Distribution. Advanced Assembly Solutions Business includes all silicone materials focused on Electronics, Lighting, Automotive, Aerospace and General Manufacturing applications.
The Regional Channel Manager is generally a commercial position that requires a robust technical background and industry expertise. The position is focused to ensure that Dow Performance Silicones market share grow in the targeted markets through our technical distribution network.
Looking for a results-driven sales representative focused to grow our "Advanced Assembly Materials" product line in the southern territory in US through technical distributors.
Collaborate and align efforts with Key Distributors Managers to support strategic selling plans agreed with Distribution leadership.
Support distribution sellers while engaging industrial, automotive, aerospace, lighting and electronics customers and present, promote and sell high performance materials.
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other functions.
Analyze the territory, understand market's potential and relevant industries, develop & manage opportunities portfolio, track sales and status reports.
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Represent voice of customers.
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
Three years of technical sales experience is preferred
Proven work experience as a sales representative (Preferable through distribution)
Excellent networking skills. Able to maintain trust relationships with customers and distributors.
Distribution management knowledge.
Territory Management skills.
Highly motivated and results driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
