Industry pioneer Bell is currently testing the next generation tiltrotor – the V-280 Valor – that will provide transformational reach and revolutionary capability to the U.S. Army as part of the Future Vertical Lift (FVL) program. We are seeking a Sr Proposal Specialist to help build the foundation of the newly formed FVL Proposal Center. This position will be responsible for developing proposal strategies and best practices, developing recommendations for enterprise-level changes needed to support a competitive proposal process, and ensuring timely proposal development and delivery.
Assess current enterprise-wide Bell practices and processes related to competitive proposals and develop future state recommendations based on benchmarking comparisons and in-depth reviews with internal and external SMEs on a basis of continuing improvement
Seek out internal and external training and development opportunities to advance understanding of new proposal concepts and practices
Develop ongoing training and development exercises to ensure enterprise readiness for major proposals
Participate in the development and review of proposals, strategies and themes, and support development of proposal management plans as required.
Ensure timely development and delivery of proposals.
- Bachelor's Degree is required. Major in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
5-7 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, business operations, marketing or finance is preferred.
Rotorcraft and/or aerospace industry experience is strongly preferred, but not required
Excellent business skills neededto be credible with our executive team, including a strong understanding of Bell’s business and impeccable verbal and written communication skills
A collaborative, consultative approach with all levels of an organization, ranging from individual contributors to senior executives – yet also willing to challenge the status quo when necessary
Exemplary organizational skills and an uncompromising eye for quality and detail in a deadline-driven environment

Proficiency with full suite of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
