Lockheed Martin Project Management and Planning Operations Representative Senior in Fort Worth, Texas
F-35 Mods & upgrade mod program/project manager, responsible for planning, guiding, and ensuring seamless transitions of efforts throughout the program life-cycle. Responsibilities include ensuring ECPs/Mods are planned, captured, and executed in the time frame required to meet program milestones and customer needs, including necessary technical scope, cost, schedule and risk of projects (mods & upgrades) are defined by contracts. Will work hands on with the various leadership, all F-35 Mods & Upgrades Project/Program Managers, Fleet Mods Project Managers, Sustainment Supply Kit Managers, Control Account Managers, Business Management and Program Planning and Scheduling to ensure each program/proposal has an executable plan and work each individual plan through completion. Leads the Mods & Upgrades PMO efforts associated with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) including validating priorities, ensuring efforts remain on track, taking corrective actions as necessary, identifying issues/roadblocks and developing resolutions, plans and metrics. Ensures adherence to funding and schedule per the contract requirements, identifies program risks and issues and obtains solutions to mitigate, such as allocation of resources or changing requirements. Selected candidate will perform program/project management responsible for resolution of technical, programmatic, business, and contracting risks and issues that can affect the basic configuration of the F-35 weapon system. Task assignments may arise from various sources, and the output from the projects worked by this individual will often include coordination and briefs for leaders. Candidate will coordinate with various team functions to develop integrated solutions to program risks and issues. Selected candidate may be assigned responsibility to develop a program plan for new scope, lead the proposal for that effort, and manage the execution of the task once authorized.
Basic Qualifications Experience with program management or mods and upgrades experience. Experience with Proposal development, negotiation and process. Project Management
Desired skills Candidate should have experience with delivering multiple modification programs entailing activities in a geographically distributed locations. Experience performing sustainment and upgrade programs on LM or aerospace/defense products for both domestic and international customers are a bonus. Ability to operate autonomously with minimal direction from senior management. Proven ability to drive issues to resolution, which may involve direct interaction with senior leadership within LM and customer organizations. Ability to resolve issues that are outside of the individual's training or background. Knowledge of JSF Program policies & processes. Strong communication skills (written and oral), with a willingness to engage with subject matter experts in a variety of different functional organizations.
