Manager, Global Trade Compliance

The Manager, Global Trade Compliance manages various aspects of Bell Helicopter’s Global Trade Compliance function. This position ensures compliance with all applicable US and international trade laws and regulations. This position is based at Bell Helicopter’s headquarters facility in Ft. Worth, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Research complex regulatory issues and provide guidance to the team and the business.

  • Respond to government inquiries.

  • Ensure team meets required deadlines and commitments such as those related to license/permit applications, import/export clearance timelines, CGP, CSA, AEO, and CTPAT program commitments, etc.

  • Assess staff development needs; implement development plans.

  • Determine and distribute team goals

  • Network to remove obstacles and increase internal and external collaboration

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Experience Requirements:

  • 10-12 years in an international business or program management environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Global Trade Compliance and/or Aerospace/Defense program management is preferred.

  • SIA Advanced, CUSECO, Customs Broker license, or similar is preferred.
