The candidate for this Co-Op position is expected to develop an understanding of the UTAS business and support internal and external customers as required. Candidate must have strong organizational skills and be willing to work projects to closure. Candidate should also possess outstanding leadership, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Additionally, this opportunity will provide the candidate exposure to many different disciplines within the UTAS environment including military programs, planning, manufacturing operations, supply chain, contracts and import/export control and compliance. This candidate will be given the opportunity to interface throughout various levels within the Military Aftermarket organization.

Specific responsibilities of this role may include, but not be limited to, the following

  • Support on-time customer deliveries and logistics support activities across business units.

  • Prepare on time delivery metrics and use analytical and problem-solving skills to support improved delivery performance.

  • Work with UTAS business units, program leadership, and various functional teams to identify measureable goals, initiatives, and actions required for success.

  • Support internal and external meetings.

The candidate should possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project and PowerPoint. It is expected that the candidate will be comfortable working with large amounts of data and drawing conclusions based on his or her analysis of the data. It will be necessary for the candidate to interface with different cross-functional disciplines such as program management, operations, contract administration, engineering, and supply chain management in the Military Aftermarket businesses.

Qualification:

  • Preferred candidate would be pursuing an MBA degree in any of the following majors: Business, Supply Management, or related area.

  • Candidates pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or related field with strong analytical skills will also be considered, particularly if available to continue during year on a part-time basis.

  • Due to Department of Defense work, candidate must be a US person.
