Position Description:

We are seeking high-performance individuals with experience in design for additive manufacturing and operation of metal 3D printers, preferably SML, Arcam, Renishaw and Concept Laser. We are looking for an experienced self-motivator who has been involved in additive manufacturing solutions for internal and external customers. The candidate will be a part of a production responsible for safety, quality and on-time delivery of customer parts. This position will be responsible for daily operation of the MLS printers, part finishing as needed, machine turnaround, achievement of OEE goals, safety goals, and quality goals. Build file creation and layout expertise is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient communication skills, collaborates well in a team environment. Sensitive to customer needs and can develop internal and external relationships.

  • Experience working in the Aerospace industry

  • Experience programming Arcam, EOS, Renishaw, SLM

  • Experience with Magics and Solid works , inclusive of creation of build files, layouts

  • Experience using cost estimation models and trade studies, modifying CAD models to reflect AM standard work

  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Access and SAP

  • Six Sigma Certification

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution

  • Minimum 2 years experience working with 1 of the following powder bed additive manufacturing machines (SLM, Arcam, EOS, Renishaw, Concept Laser, etc.)

  • Minimum 2 years working experience with MLS
