IBM Cloud Brokerage is a purpose-built suite of applications that enables a self-service ability to browse, search, order and fulfill services powered by a comprehensive, curated IT as a Service catalog spanning Public, Private and Hybrid Clouds and Traditional IT providers. It is a core component of IBM’s strategic investment in the IBM Services Platform with Watson (ISPW), a
complete and automated IT as a Service environment powered by the unmatched cognitive capability of Watson.
This role is part of a group deploying and managing complex Enterprise software solutions in the areas of cloud brokerage, cloud management, data center transformation, Enterprise Hybrid Cloud Architectures and IT Governance.Our delivery organization is made up of functional teams managing (a) Client Advocacy, (b)Client Onboarding and Transformation, (c) Client Solution Engineering and (d) Client Services and Enablement.
The Brokerage Customer Enablement position is responsible for:
Deliver high-quality, structured technical training to clients
Design, standardize and enhance a standard technical training framework
Devise technical training programs according to organizational requirements
Develop classroom agenda and course content according to individual client objectives
Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets, video messages etc.)
Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually
Arrange for and conduct on-site training when needed
Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
Observe and evaluate results of training programs
Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements
Keep pace with product developments and roadmap and ensure content and training is accordingly updated
Design, standardize and implement Brokerage Platform training framework
Utilize client and internal feedback to enhance training content and framework
Conduct training sessions globally across various time zones
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
7 – 10 years of IT experience with at least 4 years’ experience in Training
2+ years of exposure to Public Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure & IBM Cloud having conducted training in Cloud technologies – Private or Public Cloud, knowledge in orchestration tools such as vRA and ICO, background in Cloud (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, etc) & middleware technologies, and Docker containers & kubernetes
5+ years of considerable knowledge of IT infrastructure & migration
3+ years of knowledge in middleware technologies such as Apache, Tomcat & Websphere, working knowledge of programing languages like JAVA, Python, AngularJS
4+ years of knowledge of modern training techniques & tools in technical subjects, designing technical course content, and ability to address training needs with complete courses, skills in video editing tools and building training videos, & running classroom as well as virtual trainings
