This position will develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc. in support of business growth. It will support business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns. As well as, monitor key performance indicators, analyzes cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.


Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a team that will execute Supply Chain work transitions

  • Developing, implementing and executing standard work for all suppliers transitions

  • Implementing project management tools that facilitate the efficient and robust transfer of work between suppliers, across the globe

  • Coordinating the communications, knowledge transfer, and offload/onboard planning between incumbent suppliers and new sources of supply

  • Collaborating with US-based supply chain teams and Regional Supply Chain teams to ensure new suppliers are ready to onboard new parts without impact to our internal operations

  • Ensuring all transition projects are managed to strict quality, cost, and delivery requirements through establishment of robust project metrics

  • Ensuring strict adherence to Supply Chain Compliance with respect to import/export of technical data and Government procurement requirements.


Basic Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10 plus years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with standing up and qualifying new suppliers for aerospace requirements, ideally internationally, including moving work between suppliers

  • Supplier development leadership, using Lean/Six Sigma skills and a process-capability approach

  • Project Management Skills – able to work across functions to drive the successful execution of programs/projects

  • People leadership is a must – some who has managed remote employees

  • Experience developing and implementing supply chain strategies and associated processes in a multi-site manufacturing environment
