Triumph Group is looking for a paid Co-op/ Intern who is prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of Organizational Quality processes and systems. They will participate as a valuable member of the Quality Assurance team at Triumph Group by working directly with the Senior Quality Leadership as well as production staffs to design, develop, and implement technology solutions on multi-disciplinary projects. Triumph Group is interested in developing students by giving them the opportunity to work in a real business environment within the Aerospace and Defense Industry. This position will report to a Sr. Director of Quality within the organization’s Quality group.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of one or several Quality Leaders, perform basic quality process/system responsibilities such as compliance management, project management, research, data collection and documentation and analysis.

  • Participate as a multidisciplinary quality team member serving as a central resource in their coordination efforts both in-person and remotely

  • Assist with the development of Quality Management / Quality Engineering certification programs across the enterprise.

  • Participate in field testing of products in support of the Quality Management System technology solution

  • Participate in the QA/QC process of projects

  • Ability to work independently with concise instructions

  • Some travel may be required

  • Must be currently enrolled in a full time undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program in the following disciplines; Operations, Business and Engineering, Quality Management, Engineering, IT

  • Minimum one previous Co-op/internship completed

  • Maintain a professional appearance

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Proficient in PC programs, including Microsoft Office
