Fatigue & Fracture Analysis Engineer

The Fatigue & Fracture Analysis Engineer will provide fatigue and fracture analysis support to design, analysis and test for a Bell Commercial Helicopter Certification Program. This position will be based at Bell Helicopter’s Arlington, TX facility.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Establish structural component lives, inspection and replacement intervals

  • Establish structural testing requirements

  • Analyze and Monitor flight test data to ensure safety of flight and continued operational readiness.

  • Interface with structural analysis and design organizations, materials & processes and structural test laboratories, flight test, and civil certification authorities.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required.

Position Requirements:

  • At least two years experience in structural analysis, design, fatigue and fracture analysis or similar Engineering discipline.

  • Strong analytical ability is required.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills are required.

  • Must have the ability to work in a team environment

  • Must be self motivated

  • Ability to work overtime as required in flight test environment is required.
