LONE STAR AEROSPACE INC Business Development-Transportation Logistics in ADDISON, Texas

Lone Star s Business Development-Transportation position is instrumental in company growth. This position reports to and assists the Vice President of Corporate Development. BD is responsible for the sales and marketing for our newest and fastest growing business lines; and assists in conducting business development and financial planning activities. Individual plays a key role in the company s bottom line. In this position BD interfaces with clients and other Lone Star business lines and provides expertise to assist in business development, project planning, and project execution. The position requires the ability to fulfill these duties and responsibilities: Understand and articulate Lone Star Analysis' full line of business offerings, capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages Utilize lead generation systems driving increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company`s ambitious growth and the penetration of new markets Prospecting for new client companies, making presentations, closing new business and maintaining successful relationships with current and prospective clients Ability to discern, engage, and invite decision makers to attend presentations Source and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means (trade shows, regional organizations, etc.), including planning meetings and trade shows Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas Meet and/or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets Protect company proprietary, private, and competitive information Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required; MBA, a plus, Minimum 5 years of experience in sales Strong leadership skills and specific background in transportation logistics Sales life cycle experience from lead generation through business closing Excellent negotiation skills Strong business acumen Creative problem solving skills Understand basic business and marketplace activities, behavioral norms and competitive pressures Must have exceptional communication and presentation skills Motivated team player, ability to see the big picture yet focus on small details, collaboration skills Highly organized, technically skilled with Microsoft Office suite Professional appearance Effective time management skills with attention to detail Other desirable experience: Experience in using predictive analytical tools to optimize processes and operations Minimum of a SECRET security clearance Expectations do not include: All of the desirable attributes within a single candidate Other Information: Lone Star s normal requirements apply, in addition to these job specific attributes.
