Our team focuses on creating avionics solutions for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, including integration of various radios and surveillance equipment for domestic and international customers. We are currently searching for Senior Systems Engineers to join our team in Richardson, TX.

This position is responsible for design, development, integration, verification, and certification of military avionics Command and Control (C2) solutions. Work in a highly collaborative environment with the ability to learn from and influence multiple programs and domains regularly. Utilize a variety of skills on a regular basis including synthesis of new and existing architectures that meld commercial and military functionality, systems engineering development best practices, debug and test in an integrated lab environment, and providing written and verbal correspondence across multiple international boundaries/management levels/domains. Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing software system design documentation, test requirements and procedures

  • Providing direct support to stakeholders to answer questions and solve technical issues

  • Present technical information and status to several levels of engineering leadership

  • Support formal verification events during major deliveries

  • Participate in and lead in bid and pursuit activities

  • Provide mentorship to other engineers toward helping the team/program succeed

  • Potential to lead system engineering project team

  • Responsible for cost, schedule and technical system performance throughout development


A successful candidate should have experience working successfully in highly collaborative environments, demonstrate the ability to take ownership of tasks and lead efforts spanning multiple stakeholders, possess exceptional written and oral communications skills, the ability to break down and execute on complex tasks with minimal instructions, and have a keen aptitude for technical work that spans multiple levels of detail. The ideal candidate will also have significant experience working with military radios and/or transponders, familiarity with the Rockwell Collins CAAS or Flight2 products, experience with multiple life-cycle phases, a strong lean/agile mentality, and a passion to build great products.


  • US Citizenship

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline.

  • Proven ability to adapt to changes in assignments and responsibilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with developing python scripts for test automation is highly desired

  • Experienced with life cycle systems development (requirements definition, test composition, verification)

  • Familiar with Military Radio and/or Surveillance (IFF) usage and bus-level (1553, A429, Ethernet, Serial) interfacing

  • Experienced in Configuration Management toolsets (DOORS, ALM, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, subversion, etc.)

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Avionics experience

  • Cost Account Management (CAM) experience

  • C/C++ and/or Ada Software experience

  • Agile Software Development experience
