Sr Price to Win Strategist


The Price to Win Strategist is responsible for leading high priority price-to-win activities within the Competitive Assessment (CA) / Price-to-Win (PTW) group. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating, planning and executing competitive analysis and research of primary competitors in support of PTW and capture team information requirements for high priority projects

  • Develop and brief PTW analysis supporting Best Value and Low Price Technically Acceptable Competitions

  • Develop competitive assessments, funding analysis, top down program price analysis, bottoms up program price analysis, market based price analysis, should costing, and design-to-cost target allocations

  • Analyze competitor key strategies and tactics including most likely proposed technical solutions, influence on requirements, investment strategies and pricing strategies

  • Provide assessments of competitor actions/strategies and their impact on high priority pursuits

  • Understand and analyze company financial statements and annual filings

  • Incorporate customer buying habits into assessments to shape pursuit strategies

  • Support the creation and implementation of Black Hat reviews for high priority projects

  • Support market assessments and early stage capture planning

The SR PTW Strategist will become a critical PTW subject matter expert and will provide mentoring and advise to capture teams and supporting analysts in how to perform PTW activities; will assist in the conduct of training and building organizational proficiency of the team; and will be an active leader in establishing procedures and practices that improve the methods and quality of PTW analyses for the division and the group.


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related fields with 10 years relevant Defense or Aerospace industries experience orMasters in engineering, business or related fields and6years relevant Defense or Aerospace industries experience.Must be able to travel up to 10%.Highly motivated, have exceptional communications skills (both oral and written) as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Direct experience with recent large competitive DOD programs.

Experience with parametric models, Cost Modeling and /or Basis of Estimate Preparation and quantitative risk analysis desired.

Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
