Performs, with limited supervision, maintenance, overhauls, repairs, and tests operations on aircraft accessories using appropriate tooling as required. Conducts diagnosis of malfunctions. Performs maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly, or adjustment and certify/test of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Maintains FAA required records, manuals and inspection forms.

  • Performs maintenance, adjustment, and/or certify/test of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA Regulations

  • Prepares and reviews documentation including service reports and test data

  • Operates test equipment as required by the OEM maintenance manuals and other work instructions

  • Paints assemblies

  • Reads and interprets mechanical drawings

  • Complies with company policies and procedures, including atendance

  • Other duties may be assigned

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of related experience. Post high school coursework or professional certification in electronics and/or aviation mechanics preferred.

  • Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Abie to write routine reports and correspondence

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products

  • Ability to read standard guages and other measuring devices

  • Physical conditions: must be able to lift/carry up to 25 pounds, frequent sitting, standing, kneeling and reaching

  • Must be able to read/write/comprehend English
