Job description


Responsible for all aspects of IT Infrastructure hardware including but not limited to network circuits, network equipment, file servers, computers, tablets, phones, and the vendor management for outsourced services. This position is accountable for providing efficient, effective, stable and available systems and infrastructure to meet the operational needs while providing a high level of customer service to support the user community. Responsibility includes the oversight of same infrastructure support and maintenance for the Gainesville Texas, Zodiac Seats CA, and Chihuahua Mexico sites.


A.Oversee the monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and administration of all IT systems, including network infrastructure, servers, storage, databases, desktops / laptops, and peripherals to achieve availability, performance, and security objectives as outlined in Zodiac policies.

B.Provide technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and Cisco products.

C.Oversee the IT service Help Desk performance in accordance with ZSUS SLA.

D.Assist in troubleshooting hardware and networking issues

E.Ensure our IT infrastructure is supported at all times of business day. Maintain system, network, and security disaster recovery plans, scripts, and coordinate testing.

F.Vendor Management – Ensure our outsourcing relationships are reviewed per policy and meet with our key vendors at least monthly

G.Project Management - Perform the appropriate tasks to successfully plan and control IT Infrastructure project activities. These include timely accurate status reporting, budgeting, estimating and scheduling tasks of medium to high complexity, and coordinating efforts of system professionals.

H.Technical Tasks - Lead Project Reviews and Implementation Meetings for projects of medium to high complexity in a timely manner in accordance with department policies, procedures and standards.

I.General staff management including hiring, reviews, development plans and terminations.

J.Provide leadership of projects of medium to high complexity by influencing the commitment and technical growth (mentoring) of system professionals and the direction of application designs to ensure the successful achievement of qualify maintenance and development activities.

K.Develop sufficient knowledge of the business environment and goals to facilitate the development and maintenance of cross-functional business applications.

L.Interaction/Communication - Interacts with others in a manner promoting individual fulfillment, teamwork and respect for others. Communicates project plans, schedules, status and designs to ensure mutual beneficial working relationships with people inside and outside the Company and coworkers., time reporting and productivity reporting

M.Other duties & projects as assigned.




1.Must have an understanding of the ITIL/ITSM framework for processes and exhibit a data driven experience basis for managing operations

2.Must have data center management experience including but not limited to WAN, LAN, Cloud, Distributed Systems, iSeries, Cisco, and associated End User Services (Service Desk, Desk Side Services, Telecommunications Services)

3.Must have experience in managing vendors in providing critical services related to all assigned functions


1.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required

2.10+ years of hands-on networking and hardware implementation with the ability to use their experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

3.4+ years of experience supporting/designing LAN/WAN systems, network and security infrastructure desired

4.5+ years of experience in configuration and network management of Microsoft Windows Servers, switches, routers and firewalls

5.Experience required in establishing and achieving SLAs and exceeding customer expectations with large volumes of requests

6.Prior supervisory experience required


Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment. Ability to read and review written communication. Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English. Must communicate with all levels of the organization.
