Bell Helicopter is seeking an experienced Rotor System Design Engineer to join a dynamic team that is leading the future of vertical lift.

This position is located at Bell Helicopter’s headquarters facility in Ft. Worth, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Technical tasks include:

- original and creative complex mechanical design

- mechanical analysis

- mechanical test

- project leadership and direction

  • Administrative duties required to perform a program

  • Presentation of design changes to Chief Engineer and manufacturing for implementation

  • Desire for career growth into a lead technical engineer for the Program Rotor Design Engineering team

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required

- Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering major is preferred

- Master’s Degree is preferred

Position Requirements:

  • At least 5 years industry experience performing complex mechanical design of rotor blades, drive systems and/or aircraft structures

  • Must have an in depth understanding of complex mechanical systems

  • Fluent proficiency using CATIA V6, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated success working effectively within a team

  • Demonstrated success acting as a mentor for other engineers

  • Ability to prioritize a variety of assignments

  • Must have a mix of high level technical and interpersonal skills
