A Day in the Life of an Environmental Health andSafety Intern:

The Environmental Health and Safety Intern supportsthe quality and safety teams by analyzing regulations at the local, state, andfederal levels.In this role, you will:

  • Analyze governmentpolicies to determine the impact on Bell Operations.

  • Develop and implementplans to comply with these regulations.

  • Analyze standards, interms of engineering concepts, and apply these standards to meet specificrequirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements for an Environmental Healthand Safety Intern at Bell :

  • Must be a currentstudent enrolled in a university and pursuing a degree at the time of theSummer Intern Program.

  • Previousexperience/knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Excel, PowerPoint, andOutlook.

  • Must be able to fulfillthe full length of the Summer Intern Program (May 29, 2018 – August 10, 2018)

  • Must possess criticalthinking and problem solving skills.

Education Requirements :

  • Must be a full-timestudent pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: industrial hygiene, environmentalengineering, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, biology, or arelated science degree.

  • 3.0 minimum GPA.

Ideal Candidates Also Have:

  • Previous work experiencein a health/safety related field.

  • Personal discipline,interpersonal communication, leadership skills.

  • Passion for their role.

  • Professionalassociations.

  • Interest in the aerospace/manufacturingindustry.

  • Technical courseworkrelated to the position.
