Job Description: The Software Engineering Center of Raytheon’s Space and Airborne Systems in North Texas is seeking a summer intern to work with and learn from our engineers on some very challenging projects. Software Engineering Intern Responsibilities You will take direction from the Senior Software Engineer in charge of systems, software tools, release management and infrastructure. Responsibilities will include support of the software team in the design, development, and testing of complex systems using various development environments and tools. You will help with the software release process and software configuration management. You will design, develop, and extend software tools used by internal engineering teams. Expect to collaborate with the some of the best engineers in the aerospace industry working on real-time embedded, vision, and behavioral systems. • Implement enhancements for internal tools and services used by the engineering team • Extend and improve tools to aide in software testing efforts • Create productivity tools/scripts for development teams • Incorporate code analysis tools into the automated build process • Design and implement automated test tools This will be an experience that will complement your education, past work experience and potentially lead to a long-term career at Raytheon.
