Software Simulation Engineer


Duties and Responsibilities

This is a hands on software engineering position. The successful candidate will perform as a Threat Simulation Software Engineer, serving as a technical expert assisting in updating the design and implementation of real-time threat generation.

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions that represent real-world radars, sensors, and weapons that meet training requirements

  • Perform general system-level integration and troubleshooting

  • Experience with radar, electronic warfare, or surface-to-air missile systems simulation

  • Knowledge of Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) standards

  • Hands on software development, integration and test of a broad range of threat capabilities to include radar, jamming, infra-red, electro-optical receivers, and weapons

  • Solutions must be imaginative, thorough, practicable and consistent with organizational objectives and processes



  • Training System simulation experience is preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or related discipline, or equivalent

  • 6 plus years of Real-Time development experience

  • 6 plus years C , C, Ada, and Java

  • 3 plus years Linux environment

  • Candidate should be a fast learner with very strong analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to carry tasks through to completion with only general technical direction

  • 5 plus years working in one or more of the domains stated in the duties section

  • Experience working in a team environment

  • Good communications skills

  • DoD Secret Clearance is required
