Our OPTEK Technology unit in Carrollton is an innovative leader in the optoelectronics and lighting industries. The Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning (SIOP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Lead facilitates design, implementation, continuous improvement and integration of the entire process including the Demand Review, Supply Review, and Management Business Review meetings and the Integrated Reconciliation and Finance supporting elements of the process.

  • Help create the vision and lead the implementation of a BU SIOP process which can be standardized and applied across TT.

  • Lead continuous education processes to ensure broad ongoing organizational support and adoption of the SIOP vision.

  • Ensure design of the SIOP Process reflects best practice while supporting organization structure, accountabilities and complexities. Ensure global, regional and other considerations are understood and incorporated in design and structure of the process.

  • Providing Senior Leaders with effective information to support decision-making that aligns the company’s product, demand, supply and financial and strategic plans. Support the ongoing process improvement of corporate-wide SIOP process.

  • Provide analytical support to improve the quality and timeliness of SIOP data reporting (sales, production, inventory, finance, project risks, uncertainties, etc).

  • Help drive organizational adoption of the SIOP process to improve control and utilization of resources (inventory, capital, people).

  • Develop and document roles, responsibilities and accountabilities for all owners, participants and stakeholders of the BU Integrated Business Planning Process.

  • Ensure owners, participants, agendas, inputs and outputs for all elements of the process are designed and documented.

  • Coach and mentor owners, coordinators and participants in the various reviews to ensure behaviors support effectiveness.

  • Identify and implement appropriate tools to support the SIOP process and ensure aggregate plans can be easily translated to executable detail plans.

  • Partner with the appropriate functional groups to build collaborative planning processes with strategic partners to increase global supply chain visibility and drive supply chain performance improvements.

  • Form and lead cross-functional teams involving leadership from Finance, Sales and Product Management, Development, Finance and Supply to reconcile and resolve projected supply/demand imbalances.

  • Build the systems and business processes to establish SIOP as a centralized demand hub to consolidate, track, and report monthly changes from all sources of demand.

  • Help develop the strategic roadmap of SIOP in order to achieve maximum support from implementing ERP systems upgrades.

  • Lead the Integrated Reconciliation process. Prepare the deck for the Management Business Review.

  • Provide facilitation support/back-up in all process meetings including the monthly Management Business Review.

  • Track, monitor, and report KPI’s. Ensure tools and processes identify root cause and drive a corrective action culture through the BU Integrated Business Planning Process.

  • Ensure there is an appropriate communications mechanism during implementation as well as ongoing to ensure communications from the reviews flow properly to those that require information.

  • Support cross-Division SIOP process expertise and continuous improvement.

  • B.A. or B.S degree with a minimum 3-5 years of business experience in Operations, Sales, Finance, Marketing, or Strategy.

  • MBA a plus.

  • APICS certification a plus.
