L3 Technologies Contracts Administrator 4 in Arlington, Texas

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Prepare contractual portions (letter, T's & C's, Reps & Certs) of proposals to the U.S. Government and other DoD Contractors
  • Manage contractual issues relative to high dollar complex Program(s)
  • Coordinate with numerous functional departments as needed to meet deadlines
  • Provide audit and fact-finding support for major proposals
  • Lead negotiations of major proposals
  • Administer government sales contracts for military equipment
  • Interpret contract requirements
  • Provide contractual guidance to program personnel and management
  • Organize and communicate contractual documentation real-time, complying with Company procedures and processes
  • Negotiate non-disclosure agreements, FAR 9.6 teaming agreements, and other miscellaneous agreements
  • Travel to various locations, estimated at less than 10%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent
  • Significant experience with Department of Defense (DoD) contracts required. Minimum 8 years experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of FAR and DFARS required
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously highly desirable
  • Government Contract Negotiation experience required
  • Requires strong Organizational and communications skills
  • Ability to work independently and at times work additional hours to meet deadlines
  • Experience with ITAR is preferred
  • Must possess the ability to effectively interface at all levels of company management
  • Must possess the ability to effectively interface with the DoD and other customer organizations
  • Experience with Service Contract Act programs desirable
  • Must have or be able to obtain a DoD secret clearance, ability to obtain program clearances required
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
